Today I am thankful for rearranging. I LOVE rearranging. When my furniture is moved around it makes me feel like I have all new stuff! It's a very easy and cheap way to feel like you've spruced up your living quarters. Very satisfying indeed.
Since we decided to move Zoe from her co-sleeper to the crib, we had to get Elijah a new toddler bed (since he was using the crib's toddler bed setting). So that meant we had to rearrange his room. Then we had to move the crib into our room since Zoe still gets up to nurse in the middle of the night, so we had to rearrange our room as well.
And of course in the process of rearranging you are forced to clean up a little bit, so that always helps. And occasionally you find things you had lost! Mostly I just found Elijah's toys in random places where he had stashed them. What a goofball.
Moral of the story: Rearranging makes me happy (even though my back is likely going to be regretting it in the morning).
YAY! I also love rearranging. I wish our place was bigger so I could do more. I keep trying to figure out how I could rearrange the living room but I can't think of any way that will work. Usually I use graph paper and draw out the furniture and everything...maybe I should try that.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I will have to come over and help you, I am an expert rearranger... Haha or least I like to think so. You are doing a fabulous job already though with the space you have. I sometimes draw it out on paper too, but you know what works better? Just have your hubby move each piece of furniture to a different spot until you like the way it looks :-) Well at least I try to do that, yesterday I moved almost all of it myself, hence the back pain this morning...
ReplyDeleteHaha, I'll have to tell Darren your suggestion. I'm sure he would be thrilled. :) I kind of have a rearranging bug right now...maybe I should do something about it. Although I can't move the desk by myself. I've tried. It's just way too heavy. Hmm....HMMMM...
